Guat move

You’ve seen the pictures, posts and occasional videos about my visits to Guatemala over the last 3 years, but what you may not have seen was my heart and how it was broken for the people there, my hands that held malnourished children that had been rescued in the hospital, my eyes that filled with tears of joy when I saw those same children who are now healthy, or my smile that can’t be contained when I am there serving and doing what God has called and created me to do. I am excited to share with you all that I will be moving to Guatemala in January to work as a volunteer at Hope of Life International.

In the upcoming weeks before I move there is plenty to do! How can you help? First, and most importantly, I am asking for a prayer team. I will be sharing specific requests while I am down there, but beforehand I just ask to pray for me during this transition. Secondly, I invite and encourage you all to follow along on my blog I hope to provide you with a glimpse into what life is like in Guatemala and share with you all the wonderful things going on at Hope of Life.

And last, but not least, yes I will be raising support. I am in the process of designing a shirt or two and hope to have the design in a couple of weeks. All of the proceeds from them will go directly to raising the support needed for my time there as a volunteer. My hope is to be there for a year. I am approved for 12 week increments, which can be extended upon review and continued support.  So probably going to need to do more than just sell shirts! I would like for you all to prayerfully consider joining in the financial support needed and you can be a part of what God is doing through this ministry. My church, Christ Fellowship, will be handling this for me (thank you!) so all checks can be made out to them with my name added in the memo line. This is tax deductible so you can request this from them also. The address is 104 Chestnut Lane, Franklin Tn 37064.

Please feel free to visit the website to learn more about Guatemala and this ministry and contact me anytime!
